Job summary

Vonachen Group in Peoria, IL, is seeking a Part-Time 2nd shift Lead to maintain high client satisfaction and deliver quality service. The role also supports safe operations and acts as a liaison between clients and managers when the manager is not present.

This position requires strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work evenings, and a flexible schedule. The shift runs 4:30 PM–9:00 PM, offering daily pay options and eligibility for PTO and 401(k).

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean MVR.
• Reliable transportation is required for on-site work.
• Ability to work with little supervision and maintain high performance.
• Customer-oriented attitude and friendly demeanor with a diverse team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to attend training related to industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Encourages and documents employee performance as appropriate.
• Assist co-workers to meet customer demands and timelines; coordinate cleaning of restricted areas.
• Perform cleaning tasks: dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, trash removal.
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor closets and supply rooms.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report safety hazards.
• Monitor building security and follow site safety protocols.
• Facilitate inspections to ensure quality and scope of work.
• Conduct hiring interviews as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

The Lead is responsible for maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, providing high quality service levels, maintaining proper supply levels, adhering to company policies, and assisting to provide a safe working environment. This person acts as a liaison between clients and managers when the manager is not present. This person must be energetic, enthusiastic, and possess great interpersonal skills to work with a diverse group of people and maintain a strong commitment to customer service.

Job Responsibilities

• Encourages, redirects, corrects, and documents employee performance as appropriate
• Aids co-workers as appropriate to meet customer demands and appropriate timelines; coordinates cleaning of restricted access areas to perform necessary cleaning
• Cleaning such as dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, emptying trash receptacles
• Stock, organize, and maintain janitor closets and supply rooms
• Maintain a safe work environment and immediately report any safety risks or hazards
• Monitor building security, facilitate any site-specific safety protocol
• Facilitates inspections to assure performance of quality standards and Scope of Work
• Conduct hiring interviews as needed
• Complete other duties as assigned

Job Requirements
