Job summary

Logan Health Medical Center in Whitefish, MT seeks an experienced LDRP RN to join our Labor, Delivery & Postpartum team. You will care for antepartum through postpartum patients and newborns in a high-quality, supportive environment.

We offer night and weekend differentials, sign-on and relocation assistance for eligible hires, and opportunities to advance skills in C-sections with OB surgical support.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or compact MT license.
• Previous Labor & Delivery or LDRP experience required.
• BSN preferred.
• Certifications (ACLS, NRP, EFM) must be obtained within 6 months.
• STABLE preferred.
• RQI and BLS within seven days.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to antepartum, laboring and postpartum patients and newborns.
• Assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in maternal and newborn condition.
• Participate in deliveries and provide care throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Train to circulate for C-sections with support from our OB surgical technicians.
• Educate patients and families throughout their experience.
• Collaborate closely with providers and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation while following safety, infection prevention and HIPAA standards.
