Job summary

Logan Health Whitefish is seeking an experienced RN to join the Labor, Delivery & Postpartum team in Whitefish, MT. The role covers antepartum through postpartum care in a 25-bed facility, with strong support from OB clinicians and NICU nearby.

The position emphasizes advanced obstetric care, ongoing certification requirements, and opportunities to circulate for C-sections, with a 36-hour workweek and 12-hour night shifts.

Qualifications

• Current Montana RN license or compact RN license authorized to practice in Montana.
• Previous Labor & Delivery or LDRP experience required.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to antepartum, laboring and postpartum patients and their newborns.
• Assess patients, develop and implement plans of care, and evaluate outcomes.
• Recognize and respond quickly to changes in maternal and newborn condition.
• Participate in deliveries and provide care throughout the labor and delivery process.
• Train to circulate for C-sections with support from OB surgical technicians.
• Educate patients and families throughout their experience.
• Collaborate closely with providers and the multidisciplinary care team.
• Maintain accurate documentation while following safety, infection prevention and HIPAA standards.
