Job summary

GlobalPoint HC seeks a Registered Nurse I (RN I) in Grants, NM to provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care while coordinating education for patients and families.

Responsibilities include supervising ancillary staff, documenting in the EHR, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team in a high-demand hospital setting. The role requires an active NM RN license or eNLC, BLS certification, and an ADN (BSN preferred).

Qualifications

• Active New Mexico RN license or active eNLC license.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
• Deliver direct patient care across the lifespan.
• Educate patients and families with culturally sensitive guidance.
• Supervise licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and other staff.
• Document accurately in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Float to other departments as needed with appropriate orientation.
• Perform duties to support hospital operations.
