Job summary

Mercy South is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Labor & Delivery team on the Day Shift. This part-time role offers meaningful patient care in a collaborative hospital setting, with a focus on safety, education, and family-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program.
• Licensed RN in the state of practice or Compact RN license.

RN Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

Required Qualifications

Education

Licensure

• Must meet all applicable State Board of Nursing requirements

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• BLS may be obtained within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, and perform direct patient care activities
