Mercy South in Illinois is seeking compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) for Labor & Delivery on a part-time, day shift basis. You will deliver patient-centered care, perform assessments, and coordinate with physicians and care teams to support mother and newborn health.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in state of practice or Compact License.
• BLS certification required, can be obtained/renewed within 30 days of hire.

RN Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program

Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or Compact RN License
• Must meet all applicable State Board of Nursing requirements

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• BLS may be obtained within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, and perform direct patient care activities
