Mercy South is seeking a Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery for a part-time Day Shift. The RN will provide patient-centered care across all age groups, perform assessments, develop care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent outcomes.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current RN license in state of practice or Compact state.
• BLS certification required; may be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

RN Job Responsibilities

As a Registered Nurse, you will:

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered nursing care to patients across all age groups
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Implement, monitor, and evaluate treatment plans and patient outcomes
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and compliance standards
• Promote patient safety, comfort, and positive healthcare outcomes

Required Qualifications

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing (RN) program

Licensure

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or Compact RN License
• Must meet all applicable State Board of Nursing requirements

Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• BLS may be obtained within 30 days of hire

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, reach, and perform direct patient care activities
