The University of New Orleans is seeking a Medicaid Technology Development Manager to manage IT and data projects for the Digital Division. The role involves overseeing project implementations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure data quality.

Medicaid Technology Development
Manages special IT and data projects for the Digital Division, including system implementations, data migrations, and platform modernization initiatives. Tracks implementation of new federal and state system requirements against existing system builds; maintains requirements traceability and rework documentation. Coordinates data validation and reconciliation activities for data warehouse and reporting platform projects, working with program staff, IT staff, and vendors to confirm data quality and completeness. Manages coordination between development, quality engineering, and program teams on system releases, environment scheduling, and production deployment activities. Prepares status reporting, risk assessments, and decision documents on assigned digital projects for program and LDH executive leadership. Manages project roadmap to ensure that Enhancements and Epics are completed in accordance with Federal and State guidance. Contributes and prepares memos for management and elected officials as needed. Consults the Agency legal counsel regarding legislation, program policy, program revisions, recipient appeals, audits and litigation which pertain to program issues. Corresponds and meets with CMS, partners, vendors, legal counsel and other program staff on regulations regarding the Medicaid program to establish project requirements and to resolve conflicts timely. Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately. Works with LDH project leaders to become familiar with the Department's business processes and to identify, document and coordinate project scope, tasks and timelines. Identifies project resources and works with the LDH project personnel and contractors to assign individual responsibilities. Identifies impediments and risks to project roadmap. Manages project schedules and leads meetings for assigned projects. Develops standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure efficient and effective division operations. Assists the Medicaid Director, Medicaid Deputy Director and LDH Executive Management on special projects. Other duties as assigned.
Salary: 75-85k
