HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking an LDAR Technician to join their safety‑minded team at a customer site, identifying, documenting, and tagging fugitive emissions from valves, pumps, and other components to ensure EPA compliance.

Technicians use specialized equipment such as TVAs and OGI cameras to monitor, report, and facilitate repairs at refineries and oil/gas facilities, with TWIC clearance required and a Tuesday–Friday 4‑10s schedule.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Confined space entry & 10 Hour OSHA Training (preferred).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and able to work independently. The role is physically active and often involves traveling to remote sites or working within complex, loud industrial environments.
• Must be able to wear protective clothing or equipment. This includes Nomex coveralls, a back belt, slicker suits, rubber boots, a fresh air breathing mask & an escape pack & a hard hat.
• Must be able to work under extreme climate conditions (high heat index, humidity, and variable weather).
• Must be able to withstand exposure to dust, chemical & environmental fumes, exhaust & highly pressurized fluids.
• Physical stamina: walk long distances, stand for extended periods, climb ladders/scaffolding, and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsabilidades

• Ensuring Health & Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies always, & processes & acting in a safe manner
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling & pushing heavy objects.
• Field Inspections: Perform routine, scheduled inspections of components (valves, connectors, pumps, tanks) to detect leaks of VOCs.
• Monitoring Equipment Operation: Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers (e.g., Flame Ionization Detectors - FID).
• Data Management & Reporting: Record inspection data, tag leaking components, and manage inventory within databases like LeakDAS, GuideWare, SkyBridge
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to environmental regulations and strict site safety protocols.
• Collaboration: Coordinate with maintenance teams to report leaks and verify repairs.
