Job summary

HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company, is seeking an LDAR Technician to join at a customer site. The technician identifies, documents, and tags fugitive emissions from valves, pumps, and other components, using TVAs/Method 21 or OGI cameras to monitor leaks and support repairs in refineries, chemical plants, and oil/gas sites.

The role emphasizes safety, physical stamina, and the ability to work at industrial facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license.
• TWIC, required.
• Confined space entry & 10 Hour OSHA Training (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Ensuring Health & Safety is the top priority by following all safe work practices, policies and processes.
• Engage in strenuous physical labor including lifting, pulling and pushing heavy objects.
• Field inspections: routine inspections of valves, connectors, pumps, tanks to detect VOC leaks.
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain analyzers (FID) and monitoring equipment.
• Record inspection data, tag leaking components, and manage inventory in LeakDAS/GuideWare/SkyBridge.
• Adhere to environmental regulations (40 CFR Subpart 60) and site safety protocols.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to report leaks and verify repairs.
