The Less Commonly Taught Languages (LCTL) and the Indian and South Asian (ISA) Programs at MSU are establishing a pool of fixed term instructors. These positions are filled per course per semester, as-needed, and reviewed when there is an immediate vacancy.

Responsibilities include teaching one to three courses in the LCTL or ISA, attending training and biweekly progress meetings, and being evaluated by the Teaching Coordinator.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s degree required for Ast. Instructor rank.
• Master’s degree required for Instructor rank.
• Doctorate required for Ast Professor rank.
• Native or near-native literate speaker of a Less Commonly Taught Language.

Mansioni

• Teach one to three courses in the LCTL or ISA.
