The Department of English and World Languages is seeking applications for Limited Term Lecturers (LTLs) in English. LTL positions are temporary, non-benefits eligible, part‑time positions hired each semester on an as‑needed basis.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach on campus and/or online courses in introductory English courses.
• Follow the syllabus and curricula provided.
• Maintain office hours and provide feedback to students in a timely manner.
• Maintain FERPA and Title X certification.
• Assist with program‑related duties and administrative tasks, including placement, orientation, proctoring, student evaluations, curriculum and program review.
• Understand and adhere to university policies and guidelines.
• Have competency in effective and appropriate online (synchronous and asynchronous) delivery and in‑person instruction.

Education

• Master’s degree in English or a related field (minimum 18 hours of graduate work in English).

Experience

• Demonstrated experience teaching at the college level or relevant professional experience.

Core Competencies

• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and in writing in English.
