Job summary

Thriveworks is seeking provisionally licensed clinicians pursuing Virginia Licensure as an LCSW in Lynchburg, VA to provide a mix of telehealth and face-to-face sessions.

We handle credentialing, billing, scheduling, and marketing support while you focus on delivering exceptional care. A hybrid model (50% in office, 50% remote) is offered, with scheduling seven days a week from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. ET to accommodate client needs.

Qualifications

• Approved by the board as a LMSW.
• Must be seeking independent licensure and living in Virginia
• Must reside within 45 minutes of the Lynchburg office
• Ability to work in the office for the probationary period and then work a hybrid model (50% in office and 50% remote)
• A graduate of an approved 60-credit hour program
• Graduate or Post-graduate work experience in a counseling setting treating depression and anxiety is required
• Graduate or Post-graduate work experience independently conducting intakes and diagnosing (preferred) according to the current DSM-5 under a licensed supervisor
• Consistently available to clients for a minimum of 25 sessions with 30 hours of availability weekly
• A behavioral health generalist who is open to treating a variety of clients, including couples and children
• Invested in helping your clients achieve measurable progress
• Confident working with modern clinical technology, including telehealth and EHR tools
• A good teammate — we’re building a clinical community and value positive contributors

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, evidence-based mental health care to clients.
• Utilize telehealth and EHR tools for care delivery.
• Build a full caseload within 90 days of credentialing.
• Credentialing, billing, scheduling and marketing support handled by the employer.
