Essential Job Duties (other duties may be assigned):

  • Promote understanding of the nuances of mandated reporting when legal confidentiality exceptions apply.
Program & Staff Management
  • Monitor the quality and consistency of social work services across all programs.
  • Provide oversight, training, and support to social work staff and CHWs to ensure trauma-informed, client-centered care.
  • Oversee performance, professional development, and adherence to program protocols.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, supervision sessions, and collaborative planning with program staff.

  • Coordinate with HR for recruitment, placement, orientation, and training of MSW and BSW student interns.
  • Maintain and expand partnerships with universities; serve as the point of contact for all university-related correspondence and compliance.
  • Ensure all interns receive proper supervision and meaningful learning opportunities aligned with their educational objectives.
Administrative & Compliance Duties
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation of supervision, client care activities, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate program metrics, evaluations, and outcome tracking to support grant and reporting requirements.
  • Represent ANWOL at professional meetings, training sessions, and collaborative events.
Qualifications Required:
  • Master’s degree in social work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
  • Active California LCSW license, in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences.
  • Minimum of two (2) years post-licensure experience providing clinical supervision.
  • Demonstrated supervisory or program management experience required.
  • Experience working with formerly incarcerated individuals and understanding of reentry challenges and trauma-informed care.
  • Strong clinical skills including assessment, treatment planning, DSM-5 diagnosis, and group/individual psychotherapy.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Google Workspace and client case management systems.
  • Reliable transportation and valid CA driver’s license; as some travel is required.
