Job summary

Backpack Healthcare is seeking a Kentucky-licensed mental health therapist for part-time, remote work. You will deliver individual and family therapy via telehealth to youth in Kentucky, 15–22 sessions weekly, with flexible scheduling and referrals provided.

Most sessions occur weekday afternoons/evenings (2:00–9:00 PM EST); weekend availability is welcomed. We provide billing, credentialing, and administrative support, enabling you to focus on care.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky independent license (LPCC, LCSW, or LMFT) required.
• Experience or passion serving children, adolescents, and families.
• Ability to work independently in a virtual setting and manage trauma-informed care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments.
• Provide evidence-based individual and family therapy via secure telehealth.
• Collaborate with care team including PMHNPs, psychiatrists and coordinators.
• Complete timely clinical documentation in the EHR.
• Support families through education and coordinated care.

Kentucky Licensed Mental Health Therapist - Part-Time

You'll provide 15-22 telehealth sessions per week, delivering individual and family therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults throughout Kentucky.

Most clinicians see clients during weekday afternoons and evenings (2:00-9:00 PM EST), with weekend availability welcomed.

You create your schedule—we provide the referrals, administrative support, billing, and credentialing.

Responsibilities

• Conducting comprehensive behavioral health assessments
• Providing evidence-based individual and family therapy through secure telehealth
• Collaborating with our interdisciplinary care team, including therapists, PMHNPs, psychiatrists, and care coordinators
• Completing timely, accurate clinical documentation within our electronic health record (EHR)
• Supporting families through education, collaboration, and coordinated care

Requirements
