Job summary

Little Masters Development Center is seeking experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to provide EI evaluations for children from birth to three through NYC Early Intervention. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, interview families, and make recommendations based on individual needs.

Reports, conferences, and coordination with IFSP team are essential. Evaluators work in home and daycare settings per EI requirements, with flexible schedules and opportunities across Queens,

Qualifications

• Active New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license is required.
• Experience with infants, toddlers, children, and/or families.
• Experience conducting developmental, behavioral, psychosocial, or Early Intervention evaluations.
• DOH approval to provide EI services required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with families and other professionals.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for infants and toddlers per NYC EI guidelines.
• Interview parents/caregivers to gather developmental, medical, social, and family history.
• Assess strengths/needs and provide recommendations based on findings.
• Participate in IFSP development and set functional, developmentally appropriate goals.
• Prepare detailed evaluation reports with results and recommendations.
