Job summary

Kahak DC is looking for a compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to deliver community-based behavioral health services in Washington, D.C. The LCSW will conduct assessments and provide counseling, supporting clients with mental health diagnoses through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work and an active LCSW license. Experience in mental health or community services and strong communication skills are essential. Evening/weekend hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Active LCSW license in the District of Columbia.
• 1–2 years of experience in mental health or community services preferred.
• Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines and diverse populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide psychosocial assessments, individual and group counseling.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Facilitate evidence-based interventions within the MHRS framework.
• Deliver community support services including life skills training.
• Support clients in achieving housing stability and independent living.
• Coordinate care across systems and maintain clinical documentation.
