Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 12 states.

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) applies social work methods to diagnose, prevent, and treat psycho-social dysfunction for families and individuals. The LCSW screens medical records, conducts interviews and assessments, sets treatment goals, and coordinates expediting services across settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
• Must be a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Minimum 2 years of experience working with children and families.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and graph data.
• Understanding and commitment to community-based support for youth with behavior challenges.
• Ability to present facts and recommendations effectively in oral and written form.

Responsibilities

• Screen medical records, conduct interviews and assessments; set treatment goals.
• Arrange for expediting and coordinating services.
• Provide treatment to youth with mental disorders and behavioral disturbances.
• Maintain liaison with area resources and coordinate social service activities.
• Assess and plan for the social requirements of youths and families.
• Develop social service programs and resources.
• Provide consultation on social aspects of procedures, policies, and services to staff.
• Comply with CRMC policies; cooperate with licensee and department staff during inspections.
