Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools is seeking an Autism Center-Based (RISE) Teacher-LCR at Ridgeview Elementary to support students through center-based instruction and individualized programming. This role is part of the Special Education Providers/ Special Education Teacher track with February 1, 2027 start and a May 3, 2027 end date.

The position requires working with at-risk youth and collaborating with families and community partners to meet educational needs, including distance learning options

Qualifications

• Current MN Teaching Licensure: ASD or ABS licensure preferred
• Experience with at-risk school age youth
• Ability to work successfully with students and adults from diverse backgrounds
• Knowledge of social education procedures
• Experience providing educational programming through distance learning
• Work with student individually and in groups
• Assist with collaboration among teachers, students, families and community to meet education needs
• Provide case management services
• Conduct assessments
