Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools seeks an Autism Center-Based (RISE) Teacher - LCR at Ridgeview Elementary School. The position runs February 1, 2027 to May 3, 2027, at 1.0 FTE, with licensure in ASD or ABS preferred.

Ideal candidates bring experience with at-risk youth, ability to work with diverse backgrounds, and proficiency in delivering education through various modalities, including distance learning.

Qualifications

• Must have current MN teaching licensure in ASD or ABS preferred.
• Experience working with elementary-aged students in special education.
• Ability to collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners.

Responsibilities

• Provide autism-centered instructional services.
• Deliver individual and small-group instruction aligned to IEPs.
• Coordinate with teachers and families to meet educational needs.
• Conduct assessments and monitor progress.
• Provide case management and supports for students.
