NMS Labs in Horsham, PA is seeking a regular full-time Analyst 1 for the LCMS 2 department. The role focuses on preparation and analysis of samples for drugs and other potentially toxic compounds in biological specimens, with a schedule of Tuesday through Saturday 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

You will handle specimen preparation, perform tests, generate reports, and maintain instrument readiness. The job requires attention to quality, compliance with custody procedures, and the ability to work as part

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a chemical, physical, biological science from an accredited university.
• Minimum 16 semester credit hours in college-level chemistry coursework (above general chemistry), including Organic Chemistry.
• Two additional chemistry courses (≥3 semester hours each) in applicable topics.

Responsabilités

• Hollows biological specimens or handles them per procedures.
• Retains specimens in proper storage and follows chain of custody.
• Prepares samples for testing.
• Generates pre-analytical reports for specimen analysis.
• Prepares (metals) reagents, controls, and calibrators; validates as needed.
• Documents quality control and enters results in LIMS where required.
• Performs instrument setup and daily maintenance.
• Troubleshoots instruments and informs senior staff as needed.
• Independently performs analytical testing.
• Discards chemicals and biological materials properly.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
