Axiom seeks an experienced LC-MS/MS scientist to build and run high-throughput metabolite and protein analyses in drug safety studies. You will integrate chromatography, UV detection, and mass spectrometry with robotics and scientific AI to generate reliable data and inform models predicting human drug outcomes.

Responsibilities include design and execution of reactive-metabolism and metabolomics experiments, establishing proteomics workflows, and generating reference datasets.

Formación

• Exceptional hands-on LC-MS/MS expertise including UHPLC, ionization, fragmentation, and targeted/untargeted analysis.
• Experience developing reactive-metabolism, metabolomics, or proteomics experiments with unfamiliar workflows.
• Strong experimental judgment to design controls, calibration strategies, and validation studies.

Responsabilidades

• Own LC-MS/MS operations across targeted and untargeted workflows, including chromatography, UV detection, and MS capabilities.
• Develop and run reactive-metabolism assays to identify drug metabolites and trapped intermediates.
• Design metabolomics experiments to reveal how drugs alter cellular metabolism in connection with imaging and transcriptomics.
• Establish proteomics workflows from sample prep to LC-MS/MS acquisition.
• Generate high-quality reference datasets by varying concentrations, matrices, and conditions to test identification and quantification.
• Develop and qualify methods with rigorous controls, calibration, and validation for sensitivity and reproducibility.
• Collaborate with computational scientists to turn experiments into benchmarks for AI education.
• Work with engineers to integrate AI into QC, adaptive acquisition, and lab-in-the-loop experiments.
• Maximize instrument uptime through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
