Axiom is building a scalable, high-throughput liver-safety platform that uses advanced cell systems, imaging, and AI to predict drug outcomes. We seek an experienced Laboratory Operations professional to own facilities, equipment, and processes, ensuring reliable, safe, and scalable lab operations for autonomous workflows.

• Extensive lab operations experience with scaling labs.
• High ownership to anticipate scientists' needs and drive resolution.
• Attention to detail in reagent handling, equipment performance, and recordkeeping.
• Experience supporting high-throughput workflows and lab automation.
• Familiarity with cell culture and operations of primary human cells or organoids.
• Strong planning and quantitative skills to forecast demand and manage budgets.
• Ability to develop SOPs and training to make complex work reproducible.
• Clear communication to earn trust across scientists, engineers, technicians, and partners.
• Curiosity for building labs where robotics, software, and AI aid experiments.

Responsabilidades

• Build and run laboratory operations enabling high-quality data generation for AI models.
• Coordinate equipment installation, utilities, vendor services, commissioning, and readiness across cell culture, automation, and MS.
• Own procurement, inventory, and supply planning for cells, reagents, labware, and consumables; prevent shortages.
• Maintain instruments and robotic workcells through preventive maintenance and service contracts.
• Schedule experiments, manage instrument capacity, staffing, and material prep for high-throughput operations.
• Establish traceability for primary human cells, advanced cell systems, and reagents across donors and lots.
• Oversee lab safety and EH&S coordination including permitting and waste handling.
• Partner with software engineers to build inventory systems, dashboards, and workflows.
• Track uptime, throughput, cost, and failures; drive continuous improvements.
