What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Create purchase orders from requisitions for a designated group of suppliers and categories
- Monitor order transmission and confirmations to ensure timely processing
- Collaborate with suppliers to resolve backorders and other order-related issues
- Process order amendments and updates as necessary
- Respond to site-specific inquiries regarding order status and resolution
What is Required (Qualifications):
- Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain Operations or equivalent relevant experience
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Supply Chain Operations within a hospital or healthcare environment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams
- Commitment to maintaining regular and reliable attendance
