Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc is seeking a CMOS design-focused engineer to design and optimize memory products. You will collaborate with Design Engineering, Product Engineering, Process Integration, Probe, and Assembly to improve manufacturing outcomes.

The role requires strong problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills, with coursework in CMOS layout and VLSI. A B.S.E.E. or M.S.E.E. with related experience is preferred, in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• B.S.E.E. with 2+ years of experience in CMOS design and VLSI.
• M.S.E.E. with 1+ years of experience is acceptable.
• CMOS circuit design and VLSI coursework completed.
• Cadence Virtuoso experience required.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical and documentation skills.
• Self-motivated team player with good communication.
• Drive innovation in memory technology and layout processes.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Design/Product/Process groups to design products that optimize manufacturing functions.
• Ensure cost, quality, reliability, and time-to-market meet targets.
• Support layout and physical design activities to achieve best performance.
• Document designs and communicate results with teams.

How To Qualify:

• B.S.EE degree with + 2 years of experience
• M.S.EE degree with 1+ years of experience.
• Coursework in CMOS Circuit Design and VLSI
• Coursework that included crafting the physical layout of circuits
• Knowledge and experience using Cadence Virtuoso
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• A self-motivated, hard-working team player who enjoys working with others.
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Drive innovation into the future Memory generation with a dynamic work environment.

What Sets You Apart:

• Knowledge of layout synthesis and place and route techniques
• Experience with LVS and DRC tools such as Calibre
• Utilize AI-Enabled tools to assist in layout floor planning, place and route
• Standard cell construction and analog layout techniques
