Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the Mid shift to build pallets, pick orders, and stage goods for outbound loading. You will operate forklifts, follow the Sysco Warehouse Management System, and ensure safety and quality in a freezer/cooler environment.

You must be at least 18, pass a functional capacity test, and have basic reading, writing and communication skills. The role requires physical ability and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Six months warehouse experience preferred.
• Reach truck experience preferred.
• Certification on material handling equipment is required, or ability to become certified.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Layer picking and building pallets in Ti/Hi configuration.
• Operate forklifts and other MHE safely and efficiently.
• Inspect products for shortages or damage and report issues to supervisor.
• Ensure pallets are secured with shrink wrap and correctly labeled for delivery.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow PWMs and safety rules.
