Sysco is hiring for a warehouse role in Des Moines that involves building pallet orders by hand and staging them for outbound loading. The position requires forklift operation, strict safety adherence, and ability to work in freezer/cooler environments.

The shift runs 3pm–11pm, Sunday–Thursday, with potential eligibility for incentive plans. Applicants should be able to lift, load, and stack pallets, and comply with PWMs and safety rules.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a functional capacity test.
• Must work effectively in a team environment.
• Must communicate with supervision, management and co-workers.
• Must observe and communicate observations to equipment operation and maintenance.

Responsabilidades

• Perform layer picking using forklift to build pallets.
• Transport pallets between staging areas using MHE.
• Inspect products for shortages or damage and report findings.
• Ensure pallets are secured and labeled for delivery or storage.
• Operate RF equipment and follow PWMs per procedures.
• Maintain safety, keep areas clean, and follow PWMs.
