Job summary

Sysco Northeast RDC in Front Royal, VA is seeking a Mid shift Forklift Operator to build small pallet orders and stage them at outbound doors. This role requires frequent lifting and operation in freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse environments, with strict adherence to safety and productivity standards.

You will move products using a reach forklift, inspect for damage, and ensure proper labeling and rotation. Certification and PWMs compliance are required for safe operation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a forklift and move pallets safely.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse and follow PWMs.
• Must pass safety training and certification for MHE.
• Able to work in freezer/cooler and dry environments.
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Build less than full pallet quantity orders by hand and stage at outbound doors.
• Transport pallets using MHE; ensure proper stacking and labeling.
• Inspect items for shortages or damage and report findings.
• Operate forklifts and order-picking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in work areas; follow company policies.
