Job summary

DSV Air & Sea Inc. in Wichita is seeking a Layer Pick Operator for the 3rd shift to manage inbound receiving and outbound picking tasks at the Spirit Distribution Center.

You will process outbound orders via DMS or Wrist units/Computers, handle inbound product receipts, and coordinate with CSR and management to follow procedures. The role requires operating in a fast-paced warehouse, using WMS for orders, while maintaining accuracy and equipment care.

Responsibilities

• Follow established parameters for Receiving/Picking/XDOCK areas respectively.
• Process sort and prep all deliveries arriving at SDC and routed to the correct destination.
• Receive and process all incoming deliveries to stock correctly based on system locations and parameters.
• Pick and Pack orders according to work orders and instructions.
• Process orders accurately and timely in the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain the highest integrity when processing orders in the WMS.
• Ensure proper care and safeguarding of all computer equipment in possession.
• Ensure proper prep, care and safeguarding of all customer parts in possession.
• Handle and process orders under control accurately and within established timeframes.
• Make efforts to prep and process all orders/waves promptly.
• Notify Lead or Supervisor of any problems encountered during operations.
• 5S and maintain level of cleanliness outlined by area within the warehouse and job function areas
