Senior Litigation Attorneys at Colman Perkins

• This is a great opportunity for a motivated individual who is ready to personally handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters including law and motion from the outset, through discovery, and on to mediation, arbitration, and/or trial.
• The ideal candidate has experience handling their own caseload, court appearances, discovery, depositions, and expert depositions.
• Opportunities in SIU (examinations under oath) and large loss/catastrophic claims.
• Trial experience a plus but not required; however, we are looking for individuals in our large loss team who have prepared and worked up matters for trial, including taking and defending expert depositions.

Requirements of an Associate Attorney

• Draft case management orders, organize and analyze case information, and provide reports to carrier.
• Draft motions (including but not limited to motions for summary judgment and discovery motions).
• Make court appearances as necessary.
• Respond to written discovery.
• Efficiently conduct legal research.
• Current Member of California State Bar with no record of discipline. Nevada Bar Membership a plus.
