Job summary

Smith's Lawn in Bridgeport, CT is seeking a Lawn Care Specialist to deliver high-quality turf care and landscape services on a defined territory. A typical day includes soil analysis, applying organic and nutrient-based treatments, seeding, aeration, and educating clients.

You’ll work outdoors, manage your own routes, lift up to 50 pounds, operate equipment, and uphold safety and quality standards. A valid pesticide/herbicide applicator license or ability to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 1-2 years of hands-on lawn care maintenance and turf application experience.
• Ability to operate various equipment and perform heavy lifting in all weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the independence to work autonomously.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to communicate effectively with clients.
• Authorization to work in the U.S. and a valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).

As a Lawn Care Specialist with Smiths Lawn, you will play an essential role in creating the lush, green lawns and healthy landscapes that our clients love. A typical day may include:

About You

The physical demands of this role must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Employees may be required to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and operate equipment in outdoor conditions.
