Job summary

Great Oaks Landscape Associates, Inc. is seeking a motivated landscape crew lead in Michigan. You will be responsible for leading lawn maintenance crews, cutting grass, edging, trimming, and performing other lawn care duties using a range of power equipment.

You will also assist with loading/unloading and safety inspections of trucks and trailers while ensuring customer satisfaction. The role offers an hourly wage starting at 22.00, full-time year-round opportunities with seasonal overtime and

Qualifications

• Good work ethic and ability to work well with the crew – a team player.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in landscape, construction, or grounds maintenance.
• Able to operate required equipment safely (zero-turn and walk-behind mowers, trim tools).
• Valid Chauffeur's License and Medical Certification required.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead lawn maintenance crews and ensure tasks are completed to standard.
• Cut grass, trim edges, blow trimmings, weed, landscape and perform other lawn care duties.
• Operate power equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, snow blowers.
• Assist with loading/unloading and daily inspections of trucks and trailers.
• Follow all company policies and health and safety regulations and communicate with customers politely.

• Operate power equipment including, lawn tractors, lawn mowers, line trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, pruning saws, sod cutters, chain saws, snow blowers and other landscape maintenance equipment.
• Aid in the loading/unloading and daily inspections of trucks and trailers in the AM/PM
• Comply with all company policies and regulations in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulation.
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
