Job summary

US Grounds Maintenance is seeking a Lawn Maintenance Crew Member responsible for mowing, trimming, edging, and general grounds care. This hands-on role focuses on delivering high-quality service while maintaining safety and efficiency on daily routes.

Responsibilities include operating walk-behind, stand-on, and zero-turn mowers, trimming and edging around features, and maintaining neat, professional properties.

Qualifications

• Experience operating walk-behind, stand-on and zero-turn mowers.
• Commercial lawn care experience preferred.
• Experience with trimmers, edgers and blowers preferred.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance required.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Ability to qualify for contractor badge to access Offutt AFB (route dependent).
• Valid driver’s license preferred (some roles require driving).

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, and edge lawns with attention to detail.
• Operate different mowers as assigned.
• String trim around buildings, beds, fences, trees, and obstacles.
• Edge sidewalks, curbs, and hardscape areas for a clean finish.
• Blow off hard surfaces and keep properties professional.
• Perform seasonal cleanups like leaf removal and debris clearing.
• Maintain and enhance flower beds as needed.
• Use landscaping tools safely and responsibly.
• Follow route plans and communicate with supervisor.
