Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Groundskeeper in Springfield, MA to maintain lawns, gardens, and pathways at the client site. You will perform mowing, edging, pruning, spraying, and basic repairs with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Three years of groundskeeping experience are required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, operate vehicles, and work rotating shifts including weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school/apprentice a plus.
• Three years of groundskeeper experience in a similar setting.
• Willingness to rotate shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Mow lawns with hand or power mower.
• Edge around walks and beds; trim shrubs.
• Prune shrubs/trees to shape and health.
• Spray lawn/shrubs with fertilizers and pesticides as directed.
• Rake leaves; clean grounds; bag waste.
• Plant grass, flowers, trees and shrubs; water via hoses or sprinklers.
• Repair fences, gates, walls and walks as needed.
• Operate grounds equipment including tractors and attachments.
