Job summary

Florida Commercial Care, Inc. is seeking a Lawn Maintenance Worker in Kissimmee, FL to support landscape upkeep for various properties. You will operate commercial lawn equipment safely and maintain turf, shrubs, and beds.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience, a valid driver's license with a clean MVR, and eligibility to work in the United States. This is a full-time, on-site position with health, dental, and vision benefits.

Responsibilities

• Cut turf with power mowers, trim and edge using gas-powered equipment.
• Prune shrubs and low trees to improve shape or growth or remove damage.
• Maintain plants and flower beds.
• Operate edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, beds, and buildings.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves into turf; mulch leaves as needed.
• Weed by hand or with garden hoe.
• Maintain a polite, friendly demeanor with guests and co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job description

As a Lawn Maintenance Worker, you will provide landscape maintenance support to a variety of industrial, commercial, and/or public properties. Lawn maintenance support includes the safe operation of commercial grade lawn equipment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Cut turf using various sized power mowers, trimming, and edging using a gas-powered edger/trimmer, and operating a gas-powered blower.
• Properly and safely prune shrubs and low trees as needed to improve the shape or growth habit or to remove damaged branches.
• Maintain plants and flower beds.
• Properly and safely operate the edger and line trimmer along sidewalks, flower beds, trees, buildings, fences, and other objects.
• Pick up trash and blow leaves and other organic debris on to the turf before mowing. Mulch the leaves and organic matter when mowing.
• Perform weeding by hand or using a garden hoe or hula hoe.
• Maintain a polite, friendly, responsive demeanor with guests, customers, and co-workers.
• Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

-Eligible to work in the United States

- Must have a valid Driver's License and a clean MVR

- Must have a minimum of 1 year experience
