Job summary

Mickman Brothers, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Pest Management Technician to perform fertilization and pest management on trees, shrubs and lawns at our Ham Lake location. You will diagnose insects, weeds, and fungi, educate clients about the prescribed treatment, and monitor plant health after applications.

You will also operate and maintain spray equipment and trucks to deliver high-quality service. We value outdoor enthusiasts with backgrounds in forestry or horticulture, valid licenses, and

Qualifications

• Love of the outdoors.
• Background in Forestry, Horticulture or Landscaping.
• Turf, Weed, Tree and shrub ID, Pathology and knowledge of turf or tree physiology.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree Qualified Plant Health Care Tech training program upon hire.
• Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire.
• Relevant pesticide and related licenses and certificates, if required by state law.

Responsibilities

Compensation

$25.00–$30.00 per hour, depending on experience.
