Job summary

Weed Man Lawn Care in Richmond, VA is seeking motivated Lawn Care Technicians to join our team and work full-time outdoors at various locations year-round. No prior lawn care experience is required as paid training and tools are provided.

You will perform lawn treatments, evaluations, educate customers, and drive company vehicles, with a base hourly rate and uncapped earning potential. Must be 21+, hold a valid driver’s license, and be willing to work occasional Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and provide employment eligibility documentation.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Available to work full-time, including occasional Saturdays during peak season.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
• Receptive to coaching and committed to following company policies and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional lawn care treatments, including fertilization, weed control, aeration, seeding, and pest management services.
• Perform lawn evaluations and identify customer needs.
• Educate customers on lawn health and recommend additional services.
• Generate field sales opportunities and earn additional commission.
• Safely handle and apply lawn care products and operate company equipment.
• Drive company vehicles and complete daily vehicle/equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate service records and required paperwork.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while communicating effectively with customers and team members.
