Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply professional lawn treatments, including fertilizer and weed control.
• Perform lawn aeration, overseeding, and power seeding.
• Provide mosquito, tick, and outdoor pest control treatments.
• Operate lawn care equipment and company vehicles safely.
• Follow daily routes and complete scheduled services efficiently.
• Communicate with customers and answer basic lawn-care questions.
• Make recommendations to improve lawn health.
• Maintain service records and route documentation.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and daily prep.
• Meet productivity and service-quality expectations.

Lawn Doctor in Washingtonville, NY is looking for a dependable, hardworking Lawn Care Technician for a temporary position through November 1st, with the opportunity to return for a permanent seasonal position beginning in March.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in doing quality work, and is interested in building a career in lawn care.

Schedule

3–5 days per week

Start Time: 7:30 AM daily

Position: Temporary through November 1st, with potential for seasonal employment beginning in March

What We're Looking For

• Be physically fit and comfortable performing outdoor labor
• Be dependable and able to arrive at work by 7:30 AM
• Have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record
• Be comfortable driving a work truck and finding customer addresses
• Be able to work efficiently and independently
• Be comfortable working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
• Be able to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Take pride in providing quality service to customers
• Have a strong work ethic and reliable attendance

Previous lawn care or landscaping experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.

What You'll Do

• Ability to work independently and stay on schedule
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
• Ability to safely operate lawn care equipment and machinery
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures
