Job summary

Lawn Doctor of North Raleigh is seeking an entry-level team member to apply lawn care products and assist with outdoor duties. You will work outdoors in varying weather, lift heavy loads, and maintain equipment. A NC Ground Pesticide Applicator's License is required, with prior turf chemical experience a bonus.

The role offers potential for promotion as the company grows and provides benefits after 90 days, with a flexible schedule and annual reviews.

Qualifications

• Clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from work.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to obtain a NC Ground Pesticide Applicator's License.
• Experience applying chemicals to turf or operating lawn equipment is a bonus, not required.

Responsibilities

• Apply products to customers' lawns using stand-on equipment.
• Communicate with customers about lawn conditions or issues.
• Daily communication with owner regarding equipment/product needs and lawn conditions.
• Daily cleaning and inspection of equipment and service vehicles.
• Load/unload products and equipment from service vehicles.
• Perform equipment repair and maintenance.

Job description

Lawn Doctor of North Raleigh is currently seeking a highly motivated, responsible person with a great work ethic and attention to detail to join our team. This position will work directly with, and report to the owner of the franchise. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a small, fast growing company and have a direct impact on its success, while advancing their careers. The ideal candidate MUST have:

• Clean driving record and reliable transportation to/from work
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions (i.e. heat, cold, rain, etc.)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods of time
• Ability to obtain a NC Ground Pesticide Applicator's License
• Prior experience applying chemicals to turf, operating commercial lawn equipment and/or professional landscape experience is a bonus, but not required

Compensation and Benefits:

• $35 -45k(DOE) + overtime
• Quarterly Production and Annual Bonuses
