Galbraith’s Landscaping & Lawn Care in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Lawn Care Technician to join our team. You will drive a company vehicle to customer properties to apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides, improving lawns and managing pests while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with clean driving record is required.
• Ability to perform physical outdoor work in various weather conditions.
• Ability to apply fertilizers and pesticides following label instructions.
• Customer interaction and upselling additional services.
• Background check and drug screening required.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle to customer properties for lawn care applications.

Lawn Care Technician

Reporting To: Lawn Care Manager

Compensation: $18.00 - $25.00 / hour

To support our continued growth, we are seeking independent, self-motivated individuals who enjoy working outdoors, interacting with customers, and seeing the results of their work. In this role, you will drive a company vehicle to customer properties to apply fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides that improve lawns and manage pests.

We provide hands‑on training to teach proper application techniques and how to identify common lawn problems. Once trained, you will be able to diagnose and resolve lawn issues during service visits and offer additional services to new and existing customers. You will also be responsible for completing your daily schedule and all required forms and reports.

You will be expected to complete your assigned schedule efficiently and, when not directly instructed, actively look for opportunities to improve both new and existing customers’ properties using our products and services. Skills, Knowledge and Requirements

• No Experience Required, But A Big Plus
• Valid Driver's License and Excellent Driving Record
• Apply Fertilizers and Pesticides to Lawns According to Label Instructions and Safety Procedures.
• Ability To Approach Potential New Customers and Sell New Beneficial Services (With Commission)
• Ability To Pass Background Check and Drug Screen
• Ability to perform physical work in various weather conditions
• Reliable transportation to the branch
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds & walk long distances
• Monday - Friday, Some Saturdays May Be Required
• Indiana Chemical Applicator License A Plus
