Lawn Care Technician – Join the Blades of Grass Landscaping Team!

Location: Lagrange, OH

Pay: $20–$30/hour (based on performance)

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Applying fertilizers and weed control to keep lawns healthy and thriving.
• Performing landscape bed maintenance by pulling weeds and applying weed control solutions.
• Carrying out exterior pest and mosquito control applications to help customers enjoy their outdoor spaces.
• Interacting with customers to educate them about your work, develop rapport, and identify upsell opportunities.
• Proactively diagnosing lawn issues and developing effective treatment plans.
• Assisting other divisions (lawn mowing, landscaping) as needed.
• Working independently throughout the day to complete solo service routes.
• Maintaining and caring for equipment to ensure it’s in top working order.

What You Bring:

• A can-do attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently on your own.
• Willingness and ability to obtain state certifications and participate in continuing education.
• Ohio State pesticide certification is preferred, but we’ll help you get certified if you’re not there yet.

Pay & Hours:

• $20–$30/hour, based on your performance and experience.
• This is a full-time position from March through November, with training expected in February.
• Winter work opportunities are available during the off-season for those interested.
