Job summary

SavATree LLC is seeking a Lawn Care Specialist to maintain and enhance outdoor spaces in Kentucky. You will apply your expertise to keep landscapes healthy, visually appealing, and environmentally sustainable while delivering exceptional service.

A typical day includes aeration, fertilization, pest control, lawn/shrub/tree care, debris removal, and safe equipment operation. The role requires physical endurance, valid driver’s license, and effective communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of hands-on lawn care or landscape maintenance.
• Knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and turf care.
• Ability to operate landscape equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
• Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Horticulture/Arboriculture trade certification a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing lawn aeration, fertilization, and pest control services.
• Maintaining lawns, shrubs, trees, and flower beds.

• Operating hand tools, small and large equipment, skid steers, and loaders.

• Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience. Range for this role will be $20-$28/hr based on experience.

Position Summary

About You

You are a hardworking, safety-minded professional who thrives in an outdoor, physically demanding role. You bring:

• A passion for landscaping and creating healthy outdoor environments
• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in lawn care or landscape maintenance
• Knowledge of plants, trees, shrubs, and turf care
• Ability to operate landscape equipment safely and effectively
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members
• A valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S.
• A degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience is preferred
• Horticulture/Arboriculture Trade Certification is a plus

Physical Requirements: This role requires frequent standing, kneeling, walking, pulling, reaching, stooping, and bending. You may work on uneven turf, in all weather conditions, and around mechanical and electrical hazards. You must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout a shift and work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
