Job summary

Arbor Care seeks a motivated Lawn Care Apprentice/Technician to support our Lewes, Delaware operations. This full-time position may also involve work in Selbyville, Delaware, with the opportunity for growth within the company.

The role requires a Delaware pesticide license or the ability to obtain one within six months, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds. You will work with turf and plant care products, maintain safety standards, and keep detailed chemical

Qualifications

• Must have Delaware Pesticide License or receive pesticide license within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Knowledge of turf/plant care; hands-on landscaping or horticulture experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Properly mixing and applying chemicals with accurate records and licensing.
• Treat insects, weeds, turf diseases, and nutritional deficiencies with appropriate products.
• Maintain power spray equipment in safe, clean condition.
• Keep accurate chemical usage records per federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Use good judgment in chemical application considering weather, exposure and environmental factors.
• Follow all safety procedures and perform tasks as directed by supervisor.
• Read and interpret instructions; keep MSDS books current.
• Manage inventory and usage of applications, pesticides, and fertilizers.

The Position:

We are looking for a Full-time Lawn Care Technician.

Qualified applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Must have Delaware Pesticide License or receive pesticide license within 6 months of hire.
• Valid Driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to enter information into a customer management system (CMS).
• Knowledge of turf/plant care.
• Preferred: Hands-on experience in the landscaping or horticulture industry.

Required Education:

High School Diploma.
