Job summary

SavATree in Norwalk, CT seeks a Lawn Care Specialist to help create lush, green lawns for clients. You will analyze soil, diagnose turf, apply treatments, and perform aeration and seeding, while addressing lawn-specific needs and educating clients.

The role requires 1–2 years of lawn care experience, a turf-related degree or equivalent, and the ability to operate equipment and lift up to 50 lbs in all weather conditions. A valid pesticide license or ability to obtain one is needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, or Horticulture, or equivalent experience (preferred).
• 1–2 years of hands-on lawn care maintenance and turf application experience.
• Ability to operate lawn care equipment and perform heavy lifting in all weather conditions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the independence to work autonomously.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to communicate with clients.
• Valid Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator’s License or ability to obtain one.
• Authorization to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus).
