Job summary

SavATree is seeking a Lawn Care Specialist in Afton, MN to maintain lush, healthy lawns for our clients. You will perform soil analysis, diagnose turf conditions, apply treatments, and provide seeding and aeration services, using specialized equipment to meet lawn-specific needs.

This role offers hands-on outdoor work, independence, and opportunities to grow in turf management and lawn care, with comprehensive benefits and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• A degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of hands-on lawn care maintenance and turf application.
• Ability to operate lawn care equipment and lift up to 50 pounds in all weather.
• Strong problem-solving and the independence to work autonomously.
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication with clients.
• Valid Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator License or ability to obtain one.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Valid driver's license; CDL is a plus.

Position Summary

As a Lawn Care Specialist, you will play an essential role in creating the lush, green lawns that our clients take pride in. A typical day may include:

About You

• A degree in Turf, Entomology, Plant Sciences, Horticulture, or equivalent experience (preferred)
• 1-2 years of hands‑on experience in lawn care maintenance and turf application
• The ability to operate lawn care equipment and perform heavy lifting in all weather conditions
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the independence to work autonomously
• Excellent verbal, written, and listening skills to communicate effectively with clients
• A valid Pesticide/Herbicide Applicator's License-or the ability to obtain one
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.
• A valid driver's license (CDL a plus)

Physical Requirements

The physical demands of this role must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing these duties, employees may be required to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds and operate equipment in outdoor conditions.
