Job summary

Lawnsplus Landscaping, Inc. is seeking a Field Technician to support grounds maintenance across multiple accounts. You will load/unload trucks, cut grass, trim edges, blow debris, and assist with planting and soil work under the guidance of the Grounds Maintenance Foreman.

This seasonal, full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with overtime possible during winter or busy periods. You will operate a variety of tools, follow safety policies, and communicate politely with

Responsibilities

• Aid in loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in AM/PM.
• Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, and perform other lawn care duties.
• Move and install soil, mulch and plant material to assist with landscape projects.
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Assist foreman with other duties including construction projects, shop/yard maintenance, vehicle/equipment upkeep.
• Wear and maintain PPE and uniform at all times.
• Comply with company policies and safety regulations.
• Work with local health and safety laws and regulations.
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner.
• Participate in snow removal operations when in season.

Job description

The Lawn and Landscape Field Technician is primarily responsible for performing a variety of work tasks that allow for the timely and efficient completion of our grounds’ maintenance service accounts and will be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to complete specific job tasks and will report directly to the Grounds Maintenance Foreman and Supervisor. Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Aid in the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM
• Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, and perform other lawn care duties as directed by foreman
• At times, move and install soil, mulch and plant material to assist with the construction of landscape related projects
• Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment as directed
• Assist foreman in other work-related duties including construction projects, shop and yard maintenance, vehicle and equipment maintenance as directed
• Wear appropriate personal protective equipment and uniform at all times
• Comply with all company policies and regulations
• Work in accordance with all local health and safety laws and regulations
• Communicate with customers in a polite and courteous manner
• Participate in snow removal operations when in season

Working Schedule:

This is a seasonal full-time position. Your normal hours of operation, while subject to change, are 8 am to 5:00 pm Monday - Friday, while in season. Extreme weather events and/or growth may require additional after or weekend hours, especially during Winter months.
