The University of Virginia School of Law is hiring graduate exam assistants to help proctor final exams between 8:00am and 6:00pm on weekdays from April27 through May8. A mandatory training session will be held the week of April20. Exam assistants will support the Law School’s Student Records Office (SRO) with exam administration to help facilitate a smooth, secure, and fair testing environment.
Exam assistants will not provide technical support or troubleshooting; technical issues are handled by Law IT personnel.
Expected schedule: Monday through Friday, April27–May8, from 7:45am to 6:00pm. Applicants must be able to work at least a five‑hour shift on the days they work. Preference is given to students who can work a complete day (8:00am–6:00pm) or one of the two half‑day blocks (8:00am–1:00pm or 1:00pm–6:00pm).
Position Compensation: $20.00 hourly.
Expected to stand and walk around a classroom during the exam period.
