Confidential Employer, a California civil litigation firm, seeks an experienced attorney to draft motions, briefs, and dispositive motions, and to shape litigation strategy that impacts outcomes. You will provide legal writing, research, and strategic analysis and collaborate across offices in Newport Beach, Sacramento, and Pleasant Hill.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of civil litigation experience.
• Significant law and motion experience (drafting and opposing).
• Outstanding legal research and persuasive writing abilities.
• Experience in general liability, construction defect, personal injury, business litigation, or real property.
• Excellent analytical thinking, attention to detail, and issue spotting.

Responsabilités

• Draft and oppose a broad range of law and motion filings, including demurrers, motions to strike, and summary judgment.
• Conduct comprehensive legal research supporting litigation strategy, client advisement, and case development.
• Prepare persuasive pleadings, briefs, and appellate-quality research.
• Analyze opposing motions and develop effective legal arguments and responses.
• Collaborate with attorneys handling various civil litigation matters.
• Assist with litigation strategy and analysis through all phases of complex cases.
• Manage multiple drafting assignments while meeting court deadlines and maintaining quality.
• Communicate with attorneys and clients regarding strategy, motion status, and developments.
• Collaborate across Newport Beach, Sacramento, and Pleasant Hill offices on active matters.
