North Carolina Central University (NCCU) School of Law invites applications for the Director of the Law Library. The role provides leadership over library operations, resources, personnel, and services in support of the School of Law’s academic mission.

The successful candidate will have MLS and JD, with extensive experience in legal research instruction, collection development, and strategic management, to foster student success, faculty scholarship, and bar readiness.

Qualifications

• MLS and JD required.
• Demonstrated experience leading a law library or academic library.
• Strong skills in policy development, budgeting, and staff management.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership for the Law Library’s operations, collections, and services.
• Direct instruction and support for legal research and scholarly activity.
• Collaborate with faculty, students, and administrators to advance the law school's mission.
