Job summary

The Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga PA in Boca Raton, FL seeks a Director of Information Technology to lead the firm’s IT function across offices. This hands-on leadership role requires strategic vision, team development, and disciplined budget management to align technology with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field.
• 8+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, incl. 3+ years managing an IT team.
• Proven ability building credibility with attorneys/partners in a client-service org.
• Experience managing an IT budget, vendor negotiation, and contracts.
• Strong knowledge of law firm tech systems (DMS, PM, e-billing, e-discovery).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the firm's IT function across offices and practice groups.
• Build and mentor a high-performing IT team; drive accountability and continuous improvement.
• Manage IT budget and vendor relationships with financial discipline.
• Oversee infrastructure, security, applications, help desk, and telecom operations.
• Direct selection, implementation, and maintenance of legal-specific systems (DMS, PM, e‑billing, e‑discovery).
• Develop a multi-year technology roadmap aligned with firm growth and attorney productivity.
